Ruimsig Athletic Stadium will play host to The West Rand Carnival come 8 September. The carnival will run until Sunday, 11 September 2022.
What Can I Expect From The West Rand Carnival?
A stone’s throw away from the Walter Sisulu Botanical Gardens, the Ruimsig Athletic Stadium has plenty of space to give you that carnival feel. You can expect helicopter rides, carnival rides an entertainment festival and stalls serving mouthwatering food.
There will also be live entertainment to add to the atmosphere of the carnival and there will be a kiddies corner where there will be child minders and live shows for them to make use of and enjoy. Tickets cost R80 for an adult entry while a child entry ticket costs R40. Children under 10 can enter for free.
