Get ready for an evening of laughter, magic, and fun! Franklin Players Community Theatre presents The Elves and the Shoemaker, a full-length pantomime in two acts.
Dame Nelly Boot and her daughter Mary Jane are in a race against time to save their beloved shoe shop. The town of Espadrille is abuzz with excitement as a prestigious shoe design contest is announced, and the stakes couldn’t be higher. But, with the legendary Phillipe Phillope, his crafty sidekick Croc, and their mysterious new designer as their competition, the odds seem stacked against our heroes.
As they work tirelessly on their designs, Dame Nelly and Mary Jane find themselves entangled with a cast of strange and magical characters. Will these whimsical friends help them triumph, or will they create even more chaos? Expect plenty of slapstick, puns, visual gags, and, of course, a cheeky crocodile as the story unfolds in true pantomime fashion!
