Sunset Hike: Klipriviersberg Nature Reserve

Enjoy a sunset hike through the Bloubos, Beacon, Ray’s Ruins and Kiepersol trail loop at Klipriviersberg Nature Reserve in the south of Johannesburg.

What To Expect at The Sunset Hike?

It’s a beautiful trail with diverse scenery which should take about 2 hours to complete. The reserve closes at 18:00, so we should have plenty of time to finish the hike.

• Meet in the car park at 15:00. Hike starts at 15:30.
• Difficulty rating: 7,6km moderate difficulty (requires some fitness).
• Entrance fee: Only the R20 club fee.
• Dinner afterwards will be at Just Darling Restaurant – please RSVP if you are joining.
• Bring: Good hiking shoes, hat, sun block, 2 litres of water.
• No radios or pets. No claims against the club for loss/death or injury. Your participation is voluntary. Take care. No littering.
