Clear your diaries as it’s time to experience the legendary, Sipho “Hotstix” Mabuse at 70 years old! He’ll be performing at Snatch 32 in Randburg on Saturday, 10 September.
Legendary South African artist, Sipho Mabuse accompanied by The Hotband, will take you on a musical journey by playing popular South African music through the decades. At 70, Mabuse is still very much vital and keen to entertain crowds.
Some of his recent achievements include a GQ Lifetime Achievement award and making the cover (with a 16-page feature) on the GQ Magazine a month later. There’s no slowing down for this septuagenarian, as he’s touring the country with his fabulous six-piece. Mabuse will be playing the saxophone and flexing his skills on the vocals. The Hotband consists of SAMA nominated singer, Thembeka Khumalo, Siphiwe Kubheka on drums, Urban Noblela on guitar, David Mabaso on bass and Lloyd “toto” Mbele on keys.
