What To Expect at Seven Colours at Market Theatre?

Seven Colours is a dance theatre production that celebrates the spirit of togetherness and its nuanced complexities and challenges. Inspired by the Setswana concept of Letsema, this performance explores the collaboration of a diverse ensemble of performers to create a rich, textured, vibrant form of embodied storytelling. Set against the backdrop of the iconic “seven colours” tradition, where an assortment of colourful dishes marks Sunday gatherings, this production explores the intersections of sharing, family, and community.

“Seven Colours” embodies the values of wholesomeness, home, and togetherness through dynamic choreography, music, and personal narratives.
