What is the Secret Sunrise at Soweto Towers about?

Dance your way into Youth Day 2022, by attending the Secret Sunrise at the famous Soweto Towers! Make this Youth Day an adventurous one and dance, sway, groove and shake to the beat! The event can be described as a guided dance to celebrate life through dance with the use headphones.

Anyone is welcome to attend so bring your whole family out to enjoy this special event. If you’re an adrenalin junkie, then you’ll be happy to know that all attendees will receive a special rate of R300 on the SCAD Freefall at Soweto Towers.

How it Works

Never been to a Secret Sunrise before? If you’re new to the dancing community, you’ll soon get a better understanding of the process. You will be given headsets upon arrival. Attendees need to fetch their headphones 20 minutes before the event starts. To make the event more interactive, there will be instructors guiding you along as you dance and party! For the purpose of the event, the elements of meditation as well as ecstatic dance are combined. The duration of the event is 1 hour.

The event organizers at Secret Sunrise are running a competition, where two lucky winners can win a free bungee jump at the towers. You can find out more about the competition by clicking the event link here.

Normal tickets are R125 per person and anyone under 21 will pay R100 per person.
