It’s never too early to support Christmas charity initiatives! Completed Santa Shoeboxes can be dropped off at selected shopping malls towards the end of October.

What Can I Expect From The Santa Shoebox Project?

Hyprop’s shopping centres is getting ready to host a beautiful and charitable festive season. Their aim is to collect more presents than previous years. The Santabox Shoebox Project collects personalised gifts of essential items from various pick up points around South Africa and then distributes them to undeprivelleged children in Namibia and South Africa.

The Project is hoping to receive over 75 000 gifts this year, so help them realise their goal! So, how can you get involved? During the month of September, shoppers can go onto the Santa Shoebox website. You then choose a child you would like to support and send a gift to. Empty boxes can be collected from Hyprop shopping centers and then returned to Customer Service Desks in October once filled.

You can view the Santa Shoebox website for more information about pledging as a team, volunteering your time and how to pack a shoebox. Participating centres in Gauteng include; Rosebank Mall, Clearwater Mall, The Glen, Hyde Park Corner and Woodlands Shopping Centre in Pretoria. There is no set fee for the box, it depends on the amount you pay for the items as a whole.
