Rose Festival at Ludwig’s Roses

It’s the ultimate Spring festival at Ludwig’s Roses on the N1 just North of Pretoria. They’re hosting a 10 day festival between 30 September 2022 and 09 October 2022.

What Can I Expect From The Rose Festival at Ludwig’s Roses?

If you have green fingers then this is the festival for you! This year’s theme for the festival is, The Enchanted Forest, where you’ll be able to walk between the vast amount of rose displays in their shed. Bring your friends along and admire the scent and beauty of the roses’ intense colour spectacle.

What else can you look forward to? The tractor train rides through the fields and when you get tired from walking around you can grab a bite to eat at their quaint restaurant, The Rose Kitchen, where they serve drinks and light meals. There will also be Wilderer Gin to purchase as well as 5 different Hazeldean Craft Beers on tap.

If you purchase a vase at one of the stalls, you will receive the cut of roses for free. There is also a kids play area to keep the little ones entertained while you eat or walk around the magnificent rose farm. There is no entrance fee and no bookings are necessary.
