What Can I Expect From The Pirates Reverse Run 2023?

Which route is tougher? You decide. The much anticipated race is favourite with many a Joburg runner. In fact, the reverse run attracts a cult following, yet no one can agree on which route is the most challenging.

This time, the running club will be raising funds for their Development Fund who looks after members of their squad. The purpose of the fund is to give these talented athletes the opportunity to compete across the country. Please note that this is not a race so there won’t be any marshals, road closures, route markings or medals. You can however expect a few water tables and some good old Pirates gees.

Don’t forget to get the awesome t-shirt on your way out to tell others you did it in reverse. The cost of the run is R100 per person in terms f memorabilia you can purchase a t-shirt for R115 or a pair of branded Versus socks for R115.
