The Grammy-nominated pop-band, One Republic, is returning to South Africa, the show is made possible due to Big Concerts. The organisers have added a second date and audiences will see the band perform live in Pretoria on 18 and 19 November 2022.
The band released their debut set in 2007 and haven’t looked back since. The American group comprises of singer/songwriter and lead vocalist Ryan Tedder, guitarists Zach Filkins and Drew Brown, bassist and cellist Brent Kutzle, keys Brian Willett and drummer Eddie Fisher. The numbers don’t lie! They have over 5 billion streams on Spotify to date!
On the night you’re bound to hear some “oldies” such as “Apologize,” “Secrets”, “Good Life” “Counting Stars” and much more! You may have heard their latest up-beat hit, “I Ain’t Worried” either on the radio or in the latest Top Gun: Maverick film! Not forgetting, “West Coast,” which is their second single from their upcoming sixth studio album. The songs are sure to be Summer hits in South Africa!
The doors open at 18:00 on 18 November. While doors open slightly earlier on Saturday,19 November with guests allowed to arrive from 16:30 as the band take to the stage at 18:30. Unfortunately, the standing tickets (that were the most affordable) are sold out. There are however seated tickets that are available to purchase online and start from R1085 per person.
