Nelson Mandela Children’s Celebration 2024

Every year Nelson Mandela celebrated his birthday with children during and post his tenure as President of South Africa. Founded by Madiba, The Nelson Mandela Children’s Fund (the Fund) has kept this tradition alive, and this year brings you a fun walk with children to mark the Annual Children’s Celebration and 29th anniversary of the Fund. Save the date for Saturday, 13 July 2024.

What Can I Expect From Nelson Mandela Children’s Celebration 2024?

They want to walk the extra mile, so vulnerable children do not have to. Starting at the Nelson Mandela Children’s Hospital -a key programme for the fund, the 5KM trail will include key landmarks which will finish with celebrations at the Johannesburg Zoo . Your organisation has been invited to participate in this day that promises to be filled with fun activities.

This event will form part of the commemoration of Madiba’s passing under the theme- SPORTS STARS- Legacy in action
