National Garden Day

Head over to the inner city development at Victoria Yards on the 9 October 2022. Learn a thing or two about gardening and support local creatives at the various stalls.

What Can I Expect From The National Garden Day Event?

The event takes place between 10:00 and 16:00 and there is no entry fee making the event accessible to people from all walks of life. Those in attendance will get free flower garlands to don on the day. GardenDaySA will be providing the free garlands that will be assembled by a florist with some assistance from the Safe Study Enrichment After School.

So, what is Garden Day about? In a nutshell, it’s a day where people from around South Africa can celebrate their gardens and take part in events such as this one, where they will be empowered with gardening and horticulture knowledge that they can apply and use in their own garden.
