What Can I Expect From The National Beer Day Modderfontein Adventure?

If you are interested in history, love beer and food then this event is for you! If you didn’t know, Modderfontein is home to the world’s largest dynamite factory, the site of your National Beer Day Modderfontein Adventure! Should you attend the event, you will take a short stroll to the dynamite museum, where you will be able to trace the story of Alois Nellmapius, Alfred Nobel, the Italian dynamite specialists, explosions, Rhodes, and many more historical figures.

The tour will blow your mind! (pun intended). Thereafter, you will walk back to the award winning distillery, where 4 ice cold beers will be ready-to-taste when you sit down, as part of the tour fee. Pair your locally brewed beer with some food from their Mexican truck. Enjoy a stunning day outdoors and listen to live music on the veranda. The tour fee costs R350 per person and this includes the gin-tasting and museum entry fee. Please note that lunch is on your own account. There are only 20 spots available so be sure to book as soon as possible!
