During this inspiring night walk, you will embark on a journey through history. With a poignant stop at the home of the iconic Lilian Ngoyi. Revered as a trailblazer and leader, Lilian Ngoyi spearheaded the world-renowned 1956 Women’s March, bravely standing against the apartheid government’s pass laws. Her powerful words still resonate with us today. Her words remind us of the importance of unity and fighting for what is right.
You will commence the walk from the renowned Lebo’s back packers in Mzimhlophe, venturing on to explore three sites of historical significance. Lilian Ngoyi’s home being a focal point of the experience.
