March Night Drill at FTC Modderfontein

Night Drills have returned, offering the opportunity to witness professional and volunteer firefighters in action as they bravely confront intense heat and flames, making it the hottest family outing in Joburg! Save the date for Friday, 1 March 2024.

What Can I Expect From The March Night Drill at FTC Modderfontein?

Gates will open at 15:30 to welcome attendees. The main burn is expected to take place around 19:45, promising an exhilarating experience for all. Food will be available for purchase, along with a cash bar and card facilities on-site for convenience. There will be ample safe parking will be provided for all guests.

For those seeking an extra thrill, Fire Engine rides are available for R20 per person! Secure your wristbands at The BOX (the red container) on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note, due to safety considerations, rides are limited and will conclude at sunset. Your ticket purchases will support the maintenance and refurbishment of our engines.

Some important reminders:

Feel free to bring camp chairs for added comfort during the event.

Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Please refrain from bringing scooters, bikes, or balls to the venue.

Access to classic fire engines is strictly prohibited.

Outside food, drink, and cooler boxes are not allowed on the property.

While the event organisers adore dogs, this event is not suitable for them. Only working dogs are permitted.
