The Melrose Gallery has an exciting line up for their upcoming exhibition The March exhibition is titled, ‘To embrace the shadow is the journey of the sun and the soul.’ The exhibition runs between Friday, 3 March and Sunday, 30 April 2023.
Their latest exhibition attempts to define or better yet identify what sustainability means within an African ideology. The curator, Ruzy Rusike, has invited artists from the Carribean, East Africa and a colony of local artists. These artists will come together to create an exhibition in an environment that transcends individualism. Some of these artists include; Akilah Watts, Amita Makan, Andrea du Plessis, Bercia Roos, Francois Knoetze, Nindya Bucktowar, Nyakallo Maleke, Pardon Mapondera, Regi Bardavid, Shalom Kufakwatenzi, Mbali Tshabalala and Takudzwa Guzha.
