The Melrose Arch Gallery’s Wine Wednesdays
Are you an art and wine enthusiast? Then don't miss out on the Melrose Arch Gallery's Wine Wednesdays, every Wednesday evening during the month of March. What To Expect at...
Support the Jakaranda Children’s Home, a non-profit organisation as they host their biggest annual fundraising event. LiggieFees takes place between 1 Decemeber and 23 December 2022.
The NPO cares for 200 children who have been placed in their care by the Children’s Court. They are provided with therapy, medical care and a lovely home, where they can feel safe and loved. It is the goal of Jakaranda Children’s Home to provide them with the necessary skills they will need to become responsible adults.
In an effort to become more sustainable they host fundraising events such as LiggieFees. Visitors to the festival of lights will be able to experience a magical display of the most beautiful Christmas lights. Should you attend the event you can admire millions of Christmas lights every evening between 18:00 and 22:00.
Bring some cash along as you can support the various food and market stalls. Children can look forward to activities in the carnival area. Photos with Santa an Onsite train, Carousel and Ice Rink are other activities that your kids can enjoy.
Ticket prices for adults are R50 per person. Kids between 3 and 17 years old pay R30 pay person. Under 3s enter the festival free of charge. Well behaved dogs on a leash are welcome to join you.
