Ladles of Love Mandela Day Initiative

Support a good cause and break a world record on Mandela Day with Ladles of Love! The event takes place on Monday 18 July at the Nelson Mandela Square in Sandton.

What is The Ladles of Love Mandela Day Initiative About?

The NPO provides 300 000 meals at soup kitchens and to those in need around South Africa. And now, they’re attempting to break a World Record for “The largest food can mosaic.” The mosaic will be of the South African Flag and the event will occur at the Nelson Mandela Square.

Here’s how you can get involved; by sponsoring food cans or volunteering your time to assist with constructing the mosaic for the World Record. Or spend your 67 minutes making sandwiches, chopping vegetables, knitting squares for Winter blankets.
