Jozi 2022 Fun Run

Save the date for the 2022 Jozi Fun Run. The 28th Big Walk will take place in-person this year on Saturday, 3 December 2022. 

What Can I Expect From The Jozi 2022 Fun Run?

After not hosting the event for two years due to the pandemic, it’s sure to be an exciting run! It’s the anticipated event of the year on The Saxonwold Primary School and The Wold’s calendar!

The start takes place at Saxonwold Primary School in Restanwold Drive. So, get on your takkies and take on the walk or run in the various distances; 2.5km, 5km,7.5km or the ultimate 10km.For one entry fee of R60 you can take part in all the races. This year, the schools are raising funds for their sports department and towards devices for our learners. Unfortunately, the school was affected by a recent break-in where all learner devices were stolen. 

To add to the excitement there are prizes up for grabs for each route and there will be spot prizes for participants who dress up! Don’t rush home after the event. There’s also going to be stalls to purchase from selling gourmet food, gifts and more.

Their Big Walk will be divided into four challenges – for one entry fee, you can take part in as many challenges as you’d like from 09:00-11:00 and stand the chance of being a winner:

There are 4 challenges that participants can attempt:

Challenge 1: The Ultimate 10K Walk / Run 

Challenge 2: The Serious 7.5K Walk / Run

Challenge 3: The Fabulous 5K Walk / Run

Challenge 4: The Terrific 2.5K Walk
