My Fair Lady At Teatro Montecasino
Following the sell-out success of The Sound Of Music in 2023/24, Pieter Toerien in association with Cape Town Opera will present Lerner & Loewe's musical masterpiece, My Fair Lady at...
Who can believe that it’s already been 3 years since Johnny Clegg’s AKA the “White Zulu” passing. In this fitting tribute you can expect heavyweight South African performers to pay tribute to the iconic singer at Emmarentia Botanical Gardens.
Because Clegg gave so much of himself toward the cultural and musical language of the country, South African and even International artists have come forward to pay tribute to a giant by doing a live performance in his honour.
It’s rumoured that this event will be one of the biggest line-up of performers since the Concert in the Park! Top performers sharing the stage include; Zolani Mahola, Kurt Darren, Soweto Gospel Choir and lifetime friend, Sipho Mchunu. His son, Jesse Clegg as well as the Johnny Clegg band and Sipho Hotsix Mabuse will all be part of the line up.
Money that is raised from the concert will be donated to the Click Foundation. That supports The Friends of Johnny Clegg charity which was established with Johnny in December 2018.
