What Can I Expect at The Joey Rasdien Comedy Show?

Joey Rasdien is a well known comedian, writer and actor. He most recently appeared in the Material movie starring alongside other South African comedian, Riaad Moosa. Joining him at his show are some of his favourite comedians; Dillan Oliphant and Mo Mothebe.

At one stage, Joey Rasdien even had his own sitcom on SABC2 titled “Rasdien” where he played the titular character, co-produced and was a writer! He’s definitely a man with many talents and his accolades and extensive CV support this.

Rasdien is known for his thought-provoking and endearing stage persona. Dillan on the other hand, is known for his flawless delivery of unique dead-pan one-liner comedy. Oliphant hails from Eldorado Park and has used Facebook and Twitter as a means to educate and entertain his followers. He’s known locally for his Manchester United match predictions. Including his reviews and for poking fun at other soccer clubs in the Premier League. Moreover, Oliphant has a laidback and nonchalant stage presence making him a firm fan favourite.

Furthermore, Mo Mothebe, has an impressive CV; Writer, Stand up Comedian and Economics graduate. But now, he has traded Economics for Comedy. Mothebe has left audiences yearning for more when he shares tales about his past relationships. He casually talks about race and daily observations of the South African climate and context.
