It’s never too early to enjoy the arts and learn about history! Play Africa is opening their Children’s Musuems to families with children under 12 to celebrate International Museum Day. The event is hosted on Saturday, 20 May 2023.
What Can I Expect From International Museum Day at Play Africa?
Play Africa Children’s Museum aims to highlight the role museums have in connecting families, and the establishment hopes to provide safe spaces critical for the well-being of society.
In terms of the activities on offer, your kids can look forward to; African Storytelling, Incwadi Yothando (Empathy based exhibit) Creative Arts, Toddler Play, Children’s Courtroom and Fantasy Play to name a few. The educational experience costs R80 per child. In terms of the venue, Play Africa is the first interactive children’s play and early education museum of its kind in Southern Africa.
