Should you attend, you can look forward to a lively and zestful three-day performance, where you’ll hear the high school learners belt out to Hairspray hits such as, ‘You can’t stop the beat’, ‘Good Morning Baltimore’, and ‘Big, Blonde and beautiful’ to name a few. Tickets for the show start from R60 per person depending on the performance date that you choose.

In terms of the musical’s synopsis, the musical is based in the 60’s in racially divided, Maryland, Baltimore. A dance-loving teen Tracy Turnblad, auditions for a spot on “The Corny Collins Show” and wins. She becomes an overnight celebrity, a trendsetter in dance, fun and fashion.
