What Can I Expect From The Garden Day at Johannesburg Garden Club?

Celebrate the horticulture and plants event in style at an English country-styled garden. Johannesburg Garden Club is presenting the public with an opportunity to view two of Johannesburg’s most beautiful gardens. These private gardens will be open to the public to view and enjoy.

The plants in the garden include popular highveld plants such as Aloes, Bulbs and various Grasses boasting plenty of colour and textures. You will also get to marvel at the perennial and indigenous plant sections along a two acre garden.

The beautiful plants are a gardeners dream and are home to many birds and insects that I’m sure you will spot on the day of the event. So, what else can you expect at the open gardens? You will be able to purchase plants as well as enjoy something to eat and drink in the designated Tea Garden at 29 Rosebank Road, Dunkeld. While the other garden on show at 68 Elm Place Inanda will be selling Champagne and Smoked Salmon Sandwiches!

The tickets are R50 per person and they can be purchased at the gate. The event is free to children under 12. All proceeds collected at the event will be donated to the Joburg Child Welfare Charity. If you have a love of plants and gardens then this event is for you!
