Emo Adams and the Take Note Band are returning to Johannesburg after 5 years! They will be performing at two shows held on Heritage Day, 24 September 2022. The shows will be held at the Lyric Theatre in the South of Johannesburg.
The band has received an overwhelming support from Joburgers and has decided to add a 16:00 show on the public holiday. If they manage to sell over 500 tickets then they will be allowed to go ahead with the extra show. So, keep an eye on the Emo Adam’s Facebook page for updates.
It’s going to be an afternoon to remember indeed! The show will cover music from the past 5 years including some classic Emo Adams hits. You will be entertained with some comedy blurbs, loads of dancing from the band and of course, songs galore! Adams is the lead singer and has 3 SAFTA awards to his name. Other members of the high-energy band include Shaun Francke on electric and acoustic guitars. Furthermore, Marco Mentoor is on piano and keys and Lance Rhoda on drums and percussion.
Tickets start from R150 for general admission. However, the ticket prices depend on where you are seated in The Lyric Theatre.
