What Can I Expect From The Double Header Emirates Lions vs Leinster 2023?

Rugby fans are in for a treat as they can catch two electrifying games as part of the United Rugby Championship Tournament. The first game to catch is the Vodacom Bulls versus Zebre Parma at 13:00. Followed by Emirates Lions versus Leinster at 16:00. Both fixtures take place at Emirates Airline Park.

Lions Rugby CEO, Rudolf Straeuli believes these double-header weekends could be a game-changer for fans and rugby in general. “We are incredibly excited at the prospect of hosting three quality international club sides all in one day at the iconic Emirates Airline Park. Heading across the Jukskei the following weekend to Loftus Versfeld doesn’t get any better from an overall sportainment experience by the two host franchises.”

Here’s what else you can look forward to; a market with various stalls and food vendors, Weber braai area, entertainment for the whole family as well as kids rides. Fans can look forward to a post-match signing session by both teams on-field after the Lions game.                             

This is an exciting time for South Africans as the Double Header events are the first to be held in the Vodacom URC outside of Wales. Tickets start from R40 per person depending on the seats chosen. There will be park and ride facilities available and tickets for this service can be purchased through TicketPro from R200 per person. The pick up points for the park and ride service includes: Centurion Mall, Clearwater Mall, East Rand Mall, Menlyn Park, Montecasino and The Glen Shopping Mall.
