American rock band, Counting Crows, returns to the Southern Hemisphere with their critically acclaimed “Butter Miracle” tour for two nights in South Africa. They will be making their way to Pretoria on Friday, 14 April 2023.
Almost 15 years later, Counting Crows returns to South African shores. They’ll be heading to SunBet Arena, Times Square in Pretoria before making their way to Cape Town. The Counting Crows Butter Miracle Tour follows the release of the band’s latest record in 2021, BUTTER MIRACLE, SUITE ONE, and the successful U.S, U.K, and European tour of the same name in 2022.
The iconic band has been enchanting listeners with their music and lyrics for more than two decades with their soulful take on rock and roll. Since joining the music scene in 1993, they’ve sold over 20 million records worldwide. Their chart-topping hit, “Accidentally in Love,” that featured in Shrek 2 earned them an Academy Award nomination for “Best Original Song.” Due to constant masterful songwriting from leadman, Adam Duritz, the band band has featured as No.8 on Billboard Magazine’s 2021 “Greatest of All Time: Adult Alternative 25th Anniversary Chart.
