Join New Acropolis Cultural Centre on Mandela Day, Tuesday, 18th July 2023, to provide dignity to the homeless. Save the date and be sure to contribute to this worthy cause.
What Can I Expect From Chow 4 Change?
The organisation is collecting clothes and cooking ingredients at New Acropolis by Friday, 7th July. Prepared meals are welcomed to be donated on 17th and 18th July by 08:00. They need assistance with; soft drinks, desserts, sanitary packs, disposable cutlery, and cleaning materials.
For their photo booth, they need printer ink and photo paper donations. They’re also fundraising R30 000, and tax exemption receipts will be available. Other needs include; sound systems, recording equipment, and marketing resources.
Volunteer on the day for cooking, waiting tables, photography and clothes store management. Prior to the event, locals can assist with meal preparation and clothes and sorting is appreciated. RSVP via email or WhatsApp. The establishment is operational during load shedding with on-site parking.
