What is the Mirari World Gin Day About?

I can’t imagine a better way to celebrate World Gin Day than sipping some quality Gin at Johannesburg’s first distillery, Time Anchor Distillery. Shanna-Rae, the master distiller, will lead the tour, she also happens to be the founder of the Gin inspired company. She will be giving attendees some knowledge and education about Gin and will also be presenting the Gin pairing.

The tour and pairing will last about 90 minutes and attendees can expect the following:

• The perfect size of Gin and Tonic to sip on and enjoy through the experience.
• A tasting and pairing with artisanal chocolates and of course, 3 different types of Mirari Gins with tonic water.
• It wouldn’t be Gin Day, without a 50ml bottle of Gin to take home, the idea here is to bottle, label and seal the Gin yourself.
• Enjoy a guided tour of their distillery and learn all about how they make their authentic range of Gins.

You will also be afforded the opportunity to meet their stills and get insights into the botanicals that go into each of our Gins.

Take some cash with as Distillery Exclusive Special Edition Gins, Gin Liqueurs and other Gin related items will be available for purchase on the day.

There are two time slots available for the day between 12pm and 5pm, view the time slots here.
