October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and the Screen Her Save Her Non Profit Organistion is hosting a run to raise funds and bring attention to this impairing disease across all races and class structures.
TrailAdventure and Screen Her Save Her are the brains behind the event and have joined forces to create a 5km fun run at the Big Red Barn in Centurion. Don’t forget to wear pink in support of breast cancer awareness! Dust off those running shoes, get a few friends together and get some good exercise. Whether you run or walk it, is entirely up to you.
The route is pram friendly as it is relatively flat and includes a fast flowing single track through the forest. After you’ve finished the fun run head on over to the Big Red Barn Restaurant for some food and drinks! The entry fee is R150 per person and includes a water point, parking, venue entry and finishing medals! Vitaly members rejoice! You can earn Vitality points for completing the race.
