Renowned and award-winning comedian, Alan Committie, returns to Pieter Toerien’s Montecasino Theatre & Studio for his annual brand-new stand-up offering, as he reflects on the year that was.
What To Expect at Alan Committie in Comedy Gold?
It’s almost time for Comedy Gold to start its Joburg run! The first public performance is on 20 February 2025 and is a limited four week run; so don’t miss out! The show played to rave reviews and packed houses over the festive season in Cape Town.
In Comedy Gold, Committie will once again award comedy medals to all the quibbles, foibles, outrageous inconsistencies and multiple inefficiencies that make up modern living in 2024.
From elections and appalling selections, through Airbnbs and neighbourhood Whatsapp groups, but never ignoring Olympic shenanigans and dieticians, this show will be filled with all the customary wordplay and surreal detours into fresh perspectives that you associate with this jester.
The show is 90-minutes with no interval.
