What Can I Expect From The 2024 MiWay Wally Hayward Marathon?

The MiWay Wally Hayward Marathon, featuring races of 10km, 21.1km, and 42.2km distances!

Race Categories:

Kids Dash (3 to 10 years old)
5km (all ages)
Entry Caps:

5km: 1,000 participants
10km: 2,000 participants
21.1km: 3,000 participants
42.2km: 4,000 participants
Race Pack Collection:

Pre-entry packs can be collected at the race venue on Monday, April 29th, 2024, from 15:00 to 19:00, and Tuesday, April 30th, 2024, from 13:00 to 19:00, as well as on race day (May 1st, 2024) from 4:30 to 6:00. They strongly recommend collecting your number on Monday or Tuesday. Race number collection will ONLY be available at the venue, Centurion Rugby Club.

You’ll receive an SMS with your race number before the event. Please have this ready when collecting your race number to expedite the process. Fancy winning your share of R100,000? Ten lucky winners will each win R10,000 cash, thanks to MiWay Insurance in collaboration with the Wally Hayward Marathon.

The cost of the race starts from R55 per adult, increasing in price for other distances.
