Spend Father’s Day In The Vaal

Show the old man how special and appreciated he is with a lovely Father’s Day out in the Vaal! In case your forgot, Father’s Day is on Sunday, 17 June 2018. And to make the occasion extra special, Emerald Resort & Casino have a few treats up their sleeves.

The Hotel Restaurant will be hosting a delicious buffet lunch from 12:30 – 15:30 offering everything from slow-roasted beef from the spit braai; grilled traditional boerewors, bone marrows and marinated chicken from the braai station to antipasta platters, salads and of course, Malva Pudding to end the meal of on a sweet note. Cost is R260 per person and kids aged 4 – 12 cost R130 per child.

Another option is the Father’s Day menu at Breeze Restaurant. Dad can take his pick from four hearty meals, including:

Daddy’ Treat – R120

Crispy Eisbein served with pickled slaw, sweet mustard and seasonal vegetables OR chips with a glass of white.

My Hero’s Chicken – R120

Half grilled chicken basted in peri-peri or BBQ sauce, served with seasonal vegetables OR chips with a glass of red wine.

For Dad With Love – R105

200g rump steak served with seasonal vegetables OR chips with a glass of red wine.

Burger In Style – R110

Sesame bun, double beef patties, fried egg, sliced cheese and chips with a Red Rock beer.

Sunday Fundays At Emerald Resort & Casino

Sundays are meant to be spent lazing about, tucking into a delicious carvery and hanging out with your loved ones. If this sounds like the perfect way to spend your Sunday, then you’re in luck! Every first and last Sunday of the month from 12:30 to 15:30 at the Emerald Hotel Restaurant, you can treat the family to a mouth-watering carvery buffet for only R175 per person and R80 for kids under 12. And as if that wasn’t enough, don’t miss out on Soulful Sundays at Breeze Restaurant every last Sunday of the month from 14:00 – 19:00.
