Melrose Arch Lights Up This Festive Season
Melrose Arch is bringing the magic back to Christmas this festive season with dazzling Christmas light displays throughout the precinct, as well as plenty of fun for the whole family. Remember the days when we’d pile into the car and drive through the streets of the city, admiring the beautiful Christmas lights on display? Those days may be long gone, but Melrose Arch is reviving the tradition!
To kick off the celebrations, the lights will be turned on at a special ceremony on The Piazza on Friday, 02 November 2018 at 18:30. MC, Harry Sideropoulos will be joined by well-known musicians including the Princess of Africa, Yvonne Chaka Chaka and Loyiso Bala, who’ll entertain guests with their favourite hits and Christmas carols before Mike Vermaak, MD of Melrose Arch, and Hedley Lewis, CEO of the Smile Foundation, flick the switch. Also, a new song for the Smile Foundation will be launched on the evening.
