Best Bakeries In The City

Gourmet chocolate chip cookies, perfectly decadent cheesecakes, sweet and fluffy buttercream, crusty bread, warm and indulgent pies… we adore all things baked. So we went bakery tasting across Joburg, to find the best bakeries in the city. Here’s what we found.

The Best Bakeries in the City

Just Teddy

This boulangerie and patisserie was originally at 1 Fox, but has recently opened up shop at the elite Hyde Park Corner. For those who are rusty in French, a boulangerie specialises in bread while a patisserie offers up delectable pastries. At Just Teddy, you can expect the most divine tarts, cakes and high teas – available in a meat or vegetarian option. They also have an a la carte menu, if you want to fill up before dessert.
