What Is It?

Another One’s Bread is a dark comedy about four Khayelitsha women who form a group of professional mourners and collect food from funerals to feed hungry learners. (The play takes its title from the Afrikaans expression “one person’s death is another person’s bread”).
This play is written by Mike van Graan and directed by Pamela Nomvete and features Faniswa Yisa, Chuma Sopotela, Motlatji Ditodi and Awethu Hleli. Witness the play live.
