About Inanda Club
The Inanda Club, founded in 1935, is one of the most exclusive clubs in South Africa.
In 1934, the founders of the Inanda Club came from the sector of the community that had been educated at English public schools such as Oxbridge and had close links with Britain. Some of those involved in its activities in the early days were important figures in the history of that era.
The two clubs that merged to form the Inanda Club were the Johannesburg Polo Club and the Rand Hunt Club, in August 1935.
The Inanda Club is situated in the heart of Sandton in a luxuriant country estate. It’s one of South Africa’s most exclusive clubs and provides privacy and exclusivity to those whose lives focus on business, sports and social networking. It’s the perfect venue to talk business and play polo.
In addition to the equestrian sports, the club has a gym, tennis courts, a swimming pool, two bars, restaurants, lounges, meeting rooms, accommodation and a large function venue.
The venue offers elegance suitable for any occasion, whether it’s a formal business function for 400 people or a casual family gathering. With the facilities that are available, all the guests will get the exclusivity that would not be possible at any commercial venue.
Inanda also has one of the largest open-air exclusive private venues in Sandton and Kyalami. The Inanda Club is your choice of venue for any occasion.
The Inanda Club also boasts 10 executive lodge rooms with full en-suite bathrooms, air conditioning, Wi-Fi access, personal safe, DSTV and bar fridge.
