Your donation will support the scaling of their 2024 activities.
What is Afrorama?
Since launching on social media in April 2021, afrorama has gained over 20k+ followers across social media, participated in 5 different accelerator programmes, and won the 2021 UNESCO Media and Information Literacy Hackathon. On Africa Day 2023, they launched their website with their first articles, as well as an Oral History Competition. Judges of the competition included Spotify’s Sub-Saharan Africa Managing Director, Cameroonian singer-songwriter Blick Bassy, and SA-based writer and poet Kojo Baffoe. In 2024, their aim is to scale their platform to become the website of choice for learning about African topics.
