Malo and the Moon Maiden
Prepare to be enchanted by Malo and the Moon Maiden, a heart-warming cirque-theatre production that weaves a magical tale of love, longing, and hope. What To Expect at Malo and...
Everybody loves a good Dr. Seuss story! His lovable characters and rhyme schemes taught us life skills and lessons through some lovable cartoon characters. Now, his books are coming to life with this Seussical JR. production at the National Children’s Theatre from 30 October until 22 December 2022.
It’s an open invitation to young and old alike! Enjoy the magical world of Dr. Seuss. It’s a mix of various stories and the Cat in the Hat will be the narrator and a focus on Horton the Elephant loosely based off Horton Hears a Who! Horton faces a double challenge where he must protect his tiny friend Jojo from a world of anger and also has to guard an egg left in his care by Mayzie La Bird. Will he be successfulin his quest?
The recurring themes and motifs throughout the production are honest, trust, friendship and loyalty. This can be considered as family entertainment at its very best in their charming outdoor theatre, Imagination Theatre. Because it is an outdoor production it is recommended that you bring your own chair, blankets and cushions to sit on. The production is suitable for children aged 5 and up.
Should it rain, ticket holders can reschedule their attendance at another convenient date and time, subject to availability. There is also a tuck shop cart selling some treats to nibble on during the show! The running time is 1 hour and there are two set times 09:30 until 10:30 and 16:00 until 17:00.
