Join the organisers if Paint Nite for a unique event where you’ll be able to paint an icon, none other than former president, Nelson Mandela. The event takes place at Primi Piatti, Eastgate Shopping Mall on Sunday, 17th July.
It’s a Pop Art theme (think Andy Warhol) where you’ll be guided by an artist at this three hour event. If you consider yourself to be an amateur, don’t worry, you’ll be taken step-by-step through the process. A template will be provided to make the creative activity a tad bit easier. The organisers are also doing a collection as part of the Nelson Mandela day greater initiative.
If you’re attending the event please consider bringing unused or second hand warm items. Such as blankets, shoes, clothes and they’ll donate the items on your behalf to those less privileged.
So, have some fun, make a difference and hang your masterpiece on your wall!
