Woodrock Animal Rescue is hosting a special event for Mandela Day this year. The public are welcome to join them at their shelter located in the Hennops River Valley between 18 and 20 July 2024.

Make Your Mark:
Be part of their wall mural activity, symbolising Nelson Mandela’s vision of Ubuntu. This is a unique chance to pay tribute to a remarkable man and his legacy.
Wish List Donations:
We kindly ask the public to check our wish list and consider donating to support our shelter and the animals under our care.
Guided Tours:
Explore their shelter with hourly guided tours conducted by experienced guides who will share insights into their operations and the animals that they nurture.
Come and be part of a day filled with community, compassion, and celebration. Your involvement and contributions will aid them in carrying out our mission of rescuing and looking after animals in need. Delicious food and drinks will be available to purchase.
