Join Hopp to Events by Race Hopper for a Pub Run! This will be the last fun-filled pub run for the rest of 2024, so ensure you register/book your tickets as soon as possible to avoid disappointment or FOMO!
What To Expect at Hopp to the Pub – Festive Edition
Hopp to the Pub – Festive Edition will get you into the holiday spirit! This festive-themed pub run is just the thing to wrap up the year on a high note! This cheerful adventure will have you dashing through the streets, dressed in your best Christmas or festive outfits, while enjoying a fun-filled evening of drinks and holiday cheer. The meeting point of this event will be at AJ’s in the Park in Craighall Park. You’ll make five joyful stops along the route, where runners will receive a drink (beer, cider, or water) at each location. There may even be a few festive surprises along the way – perhaps some seasonal shots!
It’s all about spreading holiday joy, so get dressed in your best Christmas or festive outfit! Whether you’re Santa, an elf, or a reindeer, bring the holiday spirit to life. Be sure to wear something fun and comfortable to run in. Since it will get dark, don’t forget to bring a headlamp to light up your festive path.
Registration opens at 16:00, and they’ll aim to start the run by 17:00. The route is approximately 8km and includes the following stops:
- Mad Giant Tap Room
- Delta Cafe
- Giles
- CNR Cafe
- …and then it’s back to AJ’s to celebrate the season in style!
Cost for this fun-filled on oh-so merry event is R350 per person and includes all drinks at each stop.
