Last year this Non Government Organisation broke a record for hosting the biggest virtual cook-a-long the world has ever seen! Now, the Guinness World Record title holders are back at it again, there’s no pressure to break the record so the focus is on raising funds for experience for sick children. The culinary fun takes place on Thursday, 1 September 2022.
Together with Reach For A Dream, culinary duo David Higgs and J ’Something, joined by The Lazy Makoti’s Mogau Seshoene, will be Cooking For Dreams at the second annual award-winning virtual cook-a-long. The chefs will be cooking up a storm with Woolworths ingredients that will be prepped and cooked at Emperors Palace.
The idea is to cook a meal along with the celebrity chefs either in person or via a webinar. The masterclass will then be streamed to an exclusive list of 2600 home cooks. In order to access this, you’ll need to purchase a box of ingredients online on the Reach For a Dream website. The box will be delivered to your door and you will have enough ingredients for two courses, that serves 4 people for R550.
The live event is unfortunately sold out but you can happily cook in the comfort of your kitchen! You can also make a donation on the website to support this cause.
