Breast Cancer Fun Run

The Breast Cancer Run Walk Tour is gearing up for their third run of the year, set to unfold at The Big Red Barn in PTA. TrailAdventure and Screen Her Save Her – Nonprofit have teamed up to create an exciting and meaningful fun run event. The event takes place at the start of Breast Cancer Awareness Month on Saturday, 1 October 2023.

What Can I Expect From The Breast Cancer Fun Run?

Attendees are invited to show their support for breast cancer awareness while enjoying a fulfilling exercise session. The venue, The Big Red Barn, boasts picturesque trails for participants to relish during the event. Families with young children will find the event accommodating, as it’s both pet and pram (stroller) friendly.

For those in need of refreshments post-run, food and drinks will be available for purchase at the venue. Entry fees are as follows: R150 for 5km and 10km, R200 for 15km, and R220 for 21km.

Participants can anticipate a well-organized event with marked routes for clear navigation. Additionally, there will be designated water points to keep participants hydrated. Upon completing their chosen distance, participants will be awarded finisher medals.

Entry to The Big Red Barn venue is included in the registration fee, and ample parking facilities will be provided. Plus, participants may have the chance to earn Vitality Points, likely as part of a health rewards program.
